Ordinary multiplication, not arithmetic modulo2?
Products use sums of integer products without reducing modulo2. Raw score0 meansAB=BA, so the matrices commute. A positive score measures the entrywise absolute difference, not a player-selected assignment. The program calculates automatically; no matrix choice or reroll exists.
Zero matrices commute?
If either matrix is all zero, both products are zero and score0. ForA=[1,1;0,0] andB=[0,0;1,1], AB=[1,1;0,0] andBA=[0,0;1,1], so four absolute differences sum to4. There is no early cashout or timing-dependent score.
Exact means and expected gross credit?
For p=1,2,3, gross multiplier=0.96*rawScore^p/mean(rawScore^p). Exact means are1.625,4.8125,16.4375. Each mode has96% expected unrounded gross credit, not winning frequency, net profit or a guaranteed final wallet. Zero stays zero. Powers are not multiplication by2 or3. Capture the mode before drawing, not after calculating score.
